Bush's Legacy, America's first Dictator.

What makes someone
a Dictator ?

OK, so does any of this fit Bushs' "Presidency"?

Bush undeniably has a huge amount of power,he
never had to veto anything because the Republican
Congress gave him what he wanted.He has given
himself as "president" unheard of and unprecidented
powers(unconstitutional signing statements,spying
on us without court approval-Illegal,Ignoring
Congressional oversight by refusing to allow people
to testify in front of them and pardoning criminals
that could lead to his own criminal activity-
Scooter Libby.
2.Suspension of elections and of civil liberties.
Bush has cheated (with help)to win both elections.

He has used Homeland Security, Fisa laws,"Enemy
combatant" status and suspension of Habeus Corpus
to Intimidate Whislteblowers,jail and spy on Peace
activists and jail Americans and residents without
charges- Jose
Padilla.
3.Proclamation of a state of emergency; rule by decree.
Although he hasn't done this he has prepared the way.
He contracted KBR to build Detention camps for political
opponents,suspention of the posse comitatus act.
allowing U.S. Troops to be used against American
civilians.
4.Repression of political opponents
without abiding by rule of law procedures;
single-party state.
The Bush administration has arrested numerous
Democratic Peace protestors,Americans wearing
t-shirts they didn't like,creation of "Free
speech zones" and arresting people for asking
questions they don't like.
5.Cult of personality.
Bush claims he talks to God and has mentioned
being a Dictator would be nice.
